The Lappi PT 77 features a high carbon blade which has been differentially hardened to 63 HRC on the edge and 53 HRC on the spine. The differential heat treatment sets this apart from traditional puukko blades which are often in the range of 56-58 HRC. This means the edge on the PT 77 is harder and will last longer if properly cared for. It comes with a high quality leather dangler style sheath.
