The Ahti 9698 is called the Jahti which translates to "hunt". As the name suggests, this is a great hunting, outdoor use knife. The blade has a unique design to it. Instead of the straight back spine of most puukkos it has a sweep design on the end of the blade. This design makes for a great skinning blade.
Blade is carbon steel. Handle is curly birch stained dark brown with a brass bolster. This handle has a finger guard indentation in the front for those users who like a little safety design in the handle. The sheath is dark brown vegetable tanned leather with the eagle stamped in the sheath and the diamond pattern stamped below the eagle.
