The Ahti 9607 is called the Metsa which translates to the "Forest". Ahti says this is probably their most traditional general look or design for a Finnish puukko. This is their classic and best seller in Ahti puukkos. It is used for hunting, hiking or most other things you would think to use a puukko for.
Blade is carbon steel. Handle is curly birch stained dark brown with a brass bolster. Sheath is dark brown vegetable tanned leather with Ahti's eagle stamped into the sheath and diamond pattern stamped below the eagle.
