The Roselli knives are made in Harmoinen, Finland. Bladesmith Heimo Roselli builds a simple, unique and stylishly shaped tool. Roselli's uncompromising selection of raw materials is reflected in superior blades of carbon steel, curly birch wood handles and leather sheaths. In order to provide bladesteel with the required edge holding properties, proper forge hardening and tempering techniques are essential. Blades are made from Krupp steel. Carbon content is 0.7% to 0.8%. The blades are machine forged and finished at a hardness of HRC 59-62. The sheaths are stained with linseed oil to resist dirt and make it easy to clean.
