This EKA folder is one of the few production folders made in Scandinavia. The quality of this folder is exceptional and can be used for many chores and activities in the field from hunting, camping, gardening, cooking and general utility work. The orange handle is made of Proflex, a modern product giving the user a solid, almost rubber feeling handle for a sure, safe grip. The orange color means you will not lose this knife on the ground if you need to put it down for any reason. This folder does not have a pocket clip on it but does come with a pouch that can be attached to you belt. The knife is small enough that you can put it in your pocket and not feel weighted down if you do not like to wear a knife pouch.
The blade steel on this knife is Sandvik 12C27 and hardened to a rockwell of 57 - 59. It holds an exceptional edge but is not so hard that you cannot sharpen it when necessary. Closed this knife measures 4.09" and weighs 3.53 oz.
